Dogs or People- Trust
By editor on August 12, 2007
Would you trust your best friend in the entire world or your dog? That is question that haunts and you may never know and / or might not want to know, because the reason may be quite obvious. Let’s take for an example, if you did be going out with some one who has a dog, and say you were allergic to dogs, he or she might give you up rather than the dog. Does this answer the question or fit the bill?
Imagine this, if you are dog lover, wouldn’t you take your pet to the vet immediately. Would you do the same for your spouse or
your sibling or for any person in particular for that matter? I dint think so either. It’s true that people tend to trust their dog more than their loved ones and other people in general. Why is that? Ever wondered where did the phrase, “It’s a dog’s world” came from. Well what you can expect in a world where people trust their dogs more.
Maybe this has to do with the fact that we expect too much from people around and people, including you and me, have a tendency of letting others down. Let’s face it we may not be a very loyal or an affectionate breed.

Being the proud owner of a brain which has a high IQ, is very
uncommon, with most of the general population never crossing an IQ level of 100 or may be 115 on the higher side, it is very difficult to predict what affects the IQ of a person. Various researches are being conducted on the same, many of them iniated by the Mensa High IQ society. Although some research suggests link between high IQ and vegetarian food, nothings is for proven as of yet.
Your body weight, hair color, eyes color, gait or even the way you speak does affect your IQ, what does is knowledge, large amounts of it. Also the grasping power of our brain plays an important role in deciding your IQ factor, the better you are at understanding and comparing things the more IQ you have. No! fat people do not have less IQ. There are so may scientists who are over weight. Fat people might be lazy but educated and with a high grasping potential.

Labeling People
By editor on July 23, 2007
Every body who knows any one has an alternate name for him or her, essentially has labeled him or her. Everybody’s in the labeling business. Everyone is jamming a label on everyone else. These labels might be demeaning and insulting.
Usually the act of labeling people and getting labeled starts from a very young age, right from our school years to our adult lives in our offices. Labeling people is usually an act of demeaning them, usually feeling superior and powerful in some sense or the other. From our own parents to our best friends, every body labels us. Our siblings say we can’t do nothing right. Teachers and other colleagues at work say we are
slow; we never meet deadlines and so on. We just keep on taking them. Unfortunately we only remember the labels that marred us in some way or the other. Not the ones that really meant something, like the time, when dad said he is proud of you. Positive labels, unfortunately never last to long and die out with the night. Negative labels usually form our identity. They make us who and what we are, may be this might be seen as a defense mechanism by some. Some how we start believing in the labels given to us and tend to push people away, believing for a fact that he or she might not like who we are, we start creating mirages.

What makes you have different opinions? Every body has a different point of view for looking at issues and things. These points of views give rise to opinions, biases; which lead to perceptions. How one perceives a subject is completely dependent on that person’s point of view and opinion. Even while you are working in a team, you may have work your way and prove your point of view and opinion to others before others blindly accept it.
